What is the difference between MDF and HDF
1. There are differences in the density of the boards used for medium density boards and high density boards:
① If it is a high-density board, the board density per square meter will be above 880 kg;
②If it is medium density board, the board density per square meter is generally 550~880 kg.
2. From the performance of the board:
①The main performance of high-density board products is smoothness. If the environment and temperature are changed, it can maintain good temperature resistance, and the surface decoration is very convenient. The internal structure is delicate and dense, especially the edge is dense, which can be processed into various types of edges, and there is no need to directly seal the edges to achieve better modeling effects.
② Medium-density board product performance: uniform material, dense board layer structure, smooth and clean surface, not easy to deform, stable performance, smooth edges, fine edges, not easy to break, layered; non-toxic, tasteless, non-radiation, good air permeability.
3. In terms of the use of the board, there are also obvious differences:
① High-density boards are widely used in daily life, such as indoor and outdoor decoration, making home furniture, audio casings, and car interior decoration, etc., and they are very useful in these fields. In addition, high-density boards can also be used to make various doors and partitions, and are very useful decoration materials. And in recent years, even high-density boards are used to make laminate floors.
②Medium density board is also frequently used in daily life. You may not know it, but it is actually in your home. It is mainly used to make laminate flooring, interior door panels, partition walls, and some furniture. For home decoration, MDF is basically used on the surface of the mixed oil process.
